It’s amazing how quickly 2007 flew bye.

I want to take a moment to Thank You for your participation with one or more of the events the Institute of Pleasure held in 2007. From our Fundraiser in November, to our award nominated TV T show, Caliente with Dr. Charley Ferrer, the purchase of one of my books, your participation in one of the numerous workshops we’ve done, and the visiting our website for more articles on relationships and sensuality.

As we move forward into 2008, I will provide you with more options and more opportunities to have the kind of Love Life and relationships you’ve always dreamed of.

The Institute of Pleasure opened its new office in Staten Island, New York. Now we’re able to offer you more ofwhat you’ve asked for. As always, we offer: Private counseling/coaching sessions, groups therapy, and various workshops for men and women.

We’re also having a Free Monthly Open House to allow you to visit our facility, become acquainted with me and learn a little more about the workshops we offer. This month the Open House will be January 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sexual Attitude Reconstruction - SAR

This workshop will take into consideration the various aspects of sexuality, including: sexual desire, fantasy, body awareness, communication skills, sexual development, BDSM, erotic massage, sexual orientation including heteroflexibility, gay/lesbian and bi-sexuality. Through the use of various forms of media, prints, text and verbal discussion we’ll address the various nuances of sexuality, desire, and self-acceptance. At the end of this workshop, you will have a better understanding of all aspects of sexuality and sexual health and be comfortable discussing sexual issues with their clients/patients. You will also be able to develop your own Sex-Ed Workshop. This is an intensive educational and experiential program for sex educators, counselors and medical/mental health professionals. Remember Sexual Attitude Reconstruction begins with you! This workshop is specifically geared for students and professionals in the medical and mental health fields; however non-professionals can attend to start looking at how you view your sexuality and ways to change to a more sex positive and healthier viewpoint.

Don’t let the name fool you, it’s not just for Latinas but for every man and woman who wants to learn how to derive pleasure from life and share it with someone they love. The W.I.S.E Journal for the Sensual Woman won Best Self-Help Book 2002 and provides you with wonderful information on sexual health and how to overcome physical, emotional and sexually related problems to enable you to reclaim your sensual and sexual divinity.
